A short cue from Venture Base can be heard during the story movie as Duke Exeter, Hael Storm, and Doctor Overbuild imagine a castle, pirate ship, and Robot Dog, respectively this cue brings out the piano part, making it sound fuller than it does in-game. Despite its name, Venture Base is not heard in any locations involving Venture League. Venture Explorer can also be heard every time a player Levels Up. Venture Explorer (titled Spaceship Entrance on Brian Tyler's website) includes part of the main theme of LEGO Universe, and can be heard during the story movie as the four explorers search for Planet Crux in their ship, the Venture Koi, as well as numerous game trailers. A short cue of The S.S. As the main theme for the game of LEGO Universe, many of the other songs in the game include parts of this theme, along with cues from The S.S. It was also formerly used for the NetDevil opening animation. LEGO Universe can be heard in the Log-In Screen and aboard the Venture Explorer after building a Rocket, and is often used in LEGO Universe trailers. LEGO Universe is an overture serving as the main theme for LEGO Universe, containing some cues not heard in the game at its beginning and end.

On February 24th 2021 a remastered version of the soundtrack was released on Bandcamp. The soundtrack was not officially released until the game's tenth anniversary. The LEGO Universe Soundtrack has a diverse range of styles but mainly features orchestral arrangements composed by Brian Tyler and Michael Jason Corder, but with additional music from John Harman and Richard Dekkard.
